Flying Horse Farms Receives Kateswell Grant

Flying Horse Farms is an Ohio nonprofit camp for families with children facing serious health issues like cancer. They provide children age 8 to 17 a great family camp experience at no charge. The Kateswell grant awarded to FHF helps support families like the DeCarlo's whose son Evan was diagnosed with cancer at age 10. Pretty awesome, right?

Kateswell Awards Grants

Following its October launch, Kateswell has expedited outreach to Ohio cancer nonprofits and has awarded the first two grants to Meg’s Mission for Mammograms and Alex’s Sunnyside Playroom. The organization has also identified nearly 100 other eligible nonprofits as potential future grant recipients.

Kateswell Announces Launch

Nonprofit Kateswell today announced its official launch including its new website and video at Kateswell.org. Based in Central Ohio and recently featured on Daytime Columbus, Kateswell was founded by Katie and Brian Vanderhorst in the wake of Katie’s victory over lymphoma. The mission is to raise funds and awareness for Ohio cancer nonprofits serving patients and families through the Kateswell Collective.
