JD Breast Cancer Foundation Receives $2,000 Grant

Shout-out to JD Breast Cancer Foundation, our latest $2,000 grant recipient. These funds will be used to enhance survivorship through financial assistance to Northeast Ohio individuals who are fighting breast cancer, and are experiencing financial hardship as a result.

In 2020, JDBCF provided more than $33,000 in emergency funding that covered 30 housing payments, 13 gas bills, 12 electric bills, 6 car payments, gas gift cards, 6 grocery gift cards, 5 water bills, and 1 insurance payment.

Housing is the most requested area for funding, and often times the payments made by JDBCF prevent applicants from being evicted from their homes. Keep up the great work!
